LPG Subsidy: After the Central Government recently reduced the price of domestic gas cylinders, ration card holders have received a gift from the government. The Goa state government has issued a significant announcement following the reduction of cylinder prices by Rs 200 by the central government.
After the announcement made by the state government, cardholders of Antyodaya Anna Yojana will get the cylinder for Rs 428. Indeed, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant of Goa and Union Minister Shirpad Y Naik jointly inaugurated the 'Chief Minister Financial Assistance Scheme' for LPG cylinder refilling in Panaji.
Subsidy of Rs 275 in the state
As part of this initiative, the state government will provide a subsidy of Rs 275 on LPG cylinders to beneficiaries holding Antyodaya Anna Yojana cards in the state. On this occasion, Goa CM said, 'PM Modi had earlier announced a subsidy of Rs 200 on LPG cylinder.
Let us tell you that the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme are being given a central subsidy of Rs 200. Apart from this, the Goa government has announced to give an additional Rs 275 per month to AAY ration card holders.
Subsidy of Rs 200 in Ujjwala Yojana
11 in the state, More than 000 people have AAY (Antyodaya) cards. Such cardholders will get a subsidy of Rs 200 under the Ujjwala scheme and Rs 275 from the Goa government. Overall, ration card holders will be given a subsidy of Rs 475. It's important to note that the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) is designed to address the requirements of economically disadvantaged families.

Let us tell you that after a reduction of Rs 200 in the price of the cylinder on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the price of the 14.2 kg cylinder in Panaji has gone up to Rs 903.
